From What
Members Say----
My daughter
and I have been attending Logos for about six months.
I was inspired to become a member of Logos by the love
of God that I felt when I attended Monday Night Prayer
and Sunday Morning Service. The love of God that I feel
here at Logos is so real, comforting and powerful.
I was a little apprehensive
the first time I attended the Monday night prayer, because
I wasn't used to this kind of prayer meeting. After
awhile I felt such a peace and love in my spirit, I
decided to stay and join in. The people were in a circle
praising and worshiping God, and praying in tongues.
I returned each Monday night after that and it has just
gotten better.
As I continued to attend
each Monday night, I began to observe a lot of things
that I was not used to seeing from my past relations
within the Church. They reminded me of a line from a
song, "The Spirit of the Lord is here. I can feel
him in the atmosphere." The Pastor and the members
were singing, worshiping, praying and exalting the Lord
together; and they were excited about it. It made me
look at prayer and the Church in a different way. Prayer
and church are not only about kneeling down and praying,
but also about coming together and making a joyful noise,
shouting and praising the Lord---having a good time
in the presence of the Lord.
I attended different
churches in the past, but this is the first church where
I've seen people lift God up so much, that people and
family members have been healed and delivered right
in front of me. The presence of God's Spirit is so strong;
that people, including myself, have come in feeling
discouraged, but leave feeling encouraged. The Monday
Night prayer is awesome!
Besides the Monday Night
Prayer meeting, I was in awe after attending the Sunday
Morning Service. This congregation was having what I
call "CHURCH". The praise and worship team
led us into the presence of God and the Pastor was just
awesome. I felt encouraged and at liberty to participate
just from the feeling I got from being in their midst.
The Pastor has such a
unique and descriptive way of explaining Scriptures,
using demonstrations for positive reinforcement of God's
Word, that I am able to capture a picture of the point
he is making. He makes the Word of God easy to understand.
It sticks with me all week. The other ministers also
make a lasting impact. At the end of the service, I
feel refreshed. I feel loved by God---I feel good!
Overall Logos is wonderful!
It is very diverse. There is an opportunity for everyone
to get involved. The people are great and loving. They
make you feel welcome. Last, but not least, I think
I have expressed myself enough on why I was led to Logos-it's
all about Jesus and establishing a foundation that is
built on the Lord. Logos is that Church where I am building
that foundation.
